Welcome to Wellness Healing Arts online
Our Founder Samantha began practicing Tai Chi in 2005 and has been teaching since 2011, when she began assisting in and covering her teacher's classes for learning disabled folks. Since then, Samantha has taught a diverse range of people both in person and online. "In 2011 I became an assistant/cover teacher, in my teacher's seated class for learning disabled folk. This is when I fell in love with chair-based Tai Chi. In the years that followed, I have taught a wide range of people and I have been privileged to witness the benefits that Tai Chi practice has brought in to their lives."
Samantha specialises in teaching gentle, accessible and seated Tai Chi. Her teaching approach draws upon her previous vocational experience as a support worker in various diverse settings as well as her lived experience of disability and neurodiversity. There is a strong focus on accessibility, inclusion and adaptation in the sessions which aim to foster relaxation, stress reduction and gentle mindful movement.
Samantha is an instructor member of the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain click here .
